BIM and offsite for the good of a contemporary architecture masterpiece
Despite significant urban, timing and environmental challenges, the project of the new administrative city in Lyon, designed by the famous architectural practices Z Architecture and Snøhetta and built by Eiffage Construction, was carried out masterfully thanks to the use of BIM and of an extraordinary off-site process.
By relying in particular on Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Navisworks, all those involved in this strategic project for the State and the Department optimized the design, performance simulation and construction phases and thus made it possible to create a virtuous and highly sustainable building designed for the future, improving the comfort of users and public administration employees, while integrating since the early design phases, the imperatives linked to the future operation and maintenance of the site desired by the Public Project Owner.
